Lactobacillus acidophilus for eczema

A study in the July issue of British Journal Nutrition found a significant risk reduction for atopic eczema in children aged 2–7 years by the administration of probiotics during pregnancy.

Probiotics during pregnancy is beneficial and it contains good bacteria which help in maintaining and regulating the natural balance of good and bad bacteria. Both bacteria are naturally inhabited by the intestine. When there occurs an imbalance of bad bacteria, infections starts developing.
