Generic Miacalcin approved by FDA

Miacalcin, a calcitonin-salmon nasal spray used to treat osteoporosis, has gotten cheaper now that it is available as a generic drug. We have mentioned calcitonin many times as a safer drug alternative to bisphosphonates for reducing the effects of osteoporosis. We just mentioned it in last month's piece, The Unknown About Bone.
