- Use only free range or organic, hormone and antibiotic-free meat and poultry that are NOT self-basting.
- Use real ingredients.
- Reduce your overall caloric intake by substituting alcohol with sparkling water.
- Exercise more leading up to and after Thanksgiving.
- Don't force yourself to avoid desired foods during Thanksgiving (unless allergic/intolerant). You'll either be depressed or "pig out" later. Just eat a small portion and chew slowly to savor every morsel.
