Xylichew closes its doors

It is with great sadness that the one gum brand we suggest, Xylichew, is closing its doors. The owners were unable to sell the company and decided to retire. We are efforting to find who, if anyone, the Finnish manufacturer will tap to be the new US distributor. In the meantime, we will not be carrying any gum because the other brands do not meet our standards. If you have to chew gum, while not optimal, these are your best options:

Spry Xylitol Gum (corn-based xylitol)

Corn-based xylitol

Xyla Gum (birch bark xylitol)

Good for corn-intolerant individuals, but contains artificial flavors.

It appears that a company called "Natures Stance" bought XyliChew. I got the following email back from a representative when I contacted Tundra Trading (the original company of XlyiChew):

"Nature's Stance is the new owner of the Xylichew trademark. We have been working as quickly as possible to get inventory back in stock. We are now having the product made here in the U.S. with the same great formula, using only birch xylitol as the sweetener. Each piece of gum will now be 25% larger."

I haven't personally tried the gum from Nature's Stance yet.

While XlyiChew was unavailable, I've been trying and using a product from a company called XlyiPro. Their gum is not as good as the original XlyiChew imo, but is not bad. However, it is a little harder to chew than the original XyliChew.

There is another company called "B Fresh" gum that is also good and doesn't use a lot of bad stuff in their gum. However, I personally don't like it as much (but others that have tried it like it).
