According to a new study from British Journal of Dermatology, patients with psoriasis have a greater prevalence of Celiac Disease than matched controls. Recent studies showed a possibility of undiagnosed CD among patients with psoriasis. Therefore, physicians treating patients with psoriasis should be aware of this possible association.
Steve - this should not come as a surprise to anyone. Celiac creates inflammation and psoriasis is an inflammatory condition.
